Unterallgäuer Wandert 2024: Discover hidden natural jewels!

The Unterallgäuer Wandertherbst will take place in 2024 from September 27th to October 6th and celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Under the motto "10 years - 10 days - 10 ways", numerous events and hikes are planned that put both the beautiful nature and cultural aspects of the region in the foreground.

The initiative for hiking autumn comes from the "hiking triology Allgäu", which was launched a decade ago. The event extends over ten days and offers visitors the opportunity to explore ten different hiking routes in the picturesque landscape of the Unterallgäu. These tours should not only offer a breathtaking nature experience, but also help to get to know the hidden treasures of the homeland and to sharpen the perception of the beauty of the area.

diverse events and activities

The number of planned events is diverse and ranges from nightly forest bathing to relaxing meditations. The Waldbaden offers a special experience on Friday, September 27th, at 7 p.m. in Memmingen - an opportunity to experience the healing power of nature after dark. Another highlight is the spiritual morning hike with the country people, which will take place on Saturday, September 28th, at 7.30 a.m. in Mindelheim. Here the participants can enjoy the calm of the early morning and enliven their minds.

On Monday, September 30th, at 3 p.m., there will be a hike in Bad Wörishofen under the motto "With my soul - meditation in Bad Wörishofen". This event aims to promote inner calm and serenity, while the participants experience nature through meditative practices and conversations. For those interested in history, the hike "The Romans in Türkheim" will offer an exciting experience on Friday, October 4, at 2 p.m. Here the participants can immerse themselves in the fascinating past of the region.

The other activities include a herbal hike in Kammlach on Sunday, October 6th, at 10 a.m., in which the participants learn which herbs, hedge fruits and roots can be collected in October. These treasures of nature are to be prepared for the cold season. The cultural offer is also not neglected: On Friday, October 4, at 8 p.m., the Alps Film Festival Tour with five short films will be presented in the Huber Filmhaus in Türkheim, which deal with the topic of friendship in the mountains. The films shown include works by Michi Wohlleben as well as the ultra runners Susann Lehmann and Magdalena Kalus.
