My1stabila Day: Experience the future of craft up close in Annweiler
The future of the craft lies in the hands of the next generation. On July 4, over 100 trainees and their trainers took part in the headquarters of Stabila in Annweiler. This day not only offers an insight into the fascinating world of measuring tools, but is also an important step to promote the offspring in the industry and to combat the shortage of skilled workers.
insights into craftsmanship
In the course of the "My1stabila Day", the participants were given the opportunity to go through different stations. In the company's own training center, the "campus", the trainees got to know the different measuring tools from Stabila, including water scales and laser devices. These devices are indispensable for experts and are manufactured in a variety of versions to meet the requirements of the craft.
special guests and impressive demonstrations
The day was particularly exciting by visiting a delegation of the Central Association of German Construction (ZDB) and Pierre Holze, the mason world champion of the Worldskills 2022. Holze demonstrated its impressive skills when building a wall that was decorated with the coat of arms of Annweiler and at the same time integrated a spirit level. Creativity and team spirit promote
The day also offered creative elements. At special creative stations, the trainees had the opportunity to design individual T-shirts with spray cans and live out their creativity. The "R-Type Challenge", in which strength and endurance were tested on a construction from water scales, also met with great interest and ensured team spirit among the participants.
The influence of social media in craft
Another innovative aspect of the "My1stabila Day" was the presence of influencers from the world of crafts. These craftsmen operate their own social media channels and were available to the trainees for discussions. They shared their experiences and offered insights into their everyday work, which made the day an interactive experience and promoted the exchange between the generations.
commitment to the future
