The design of the controller is based on the game world of "Doom", with 3D helmet tips in silver and silver-coated side areas. The elite controller in the "Doom" style will be delivered from April 25, 2025, whereby the availability is only guaranteed as long as the stock is sufficient. The console cover for the Xbox Series X shows a dark, smashed rock and the bright red Mark of the Slayer, with engraved symbols and runes on the inside.

The game "Doom: The Dark Ages" will be released across platforms for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on May 15, 2025. Developer ID software attaches particular importance to the background story and dispenses with a multiplayer part.
