Process against 39-year-olds: Reich citizens' compounds uncovered!

On January 23, 2025, a trial against a 39-year-old begins at the Celle Higher Regional Court, which is accused of participating in plans by the “Reich Citizens” movement to fall the federal government. The public prosecutor raises serious allegations, including membership in a terrorist association and the preparation of a highly traitual company.

The accused comes from the Hildesheim district and is said to be a member of the so -called “Kaisreichsgruppe”, a group that planned a nationwide power failure in 2022 and the kidnapping of the then Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach. According to the indictment, the woman was actively involved in strategy developments to implement these plans, especially in the areas of technology and melee training.

negotiation and planned dates

The defense has announced that the accused would soon comment on the allegations. She took part in two meetings of the "Kaiserreichsgruppe" in Verden and Schlotheim (Thuringia). A crucial moment in the process occurred on February 14, 2022, when the defendant warned a police chief commissioner of an impending crime during a demonstration against state corona measures. The police chief commissioner stated that the woman was afraid of her life and that of her children and did not support the ideology of the "Empire Group".

The procedure initiated against the 39-year-old is the first of its kind in Lower Saxony in connection with this group. More than 20 days of negotiations are scheduled to clarify their role as a co -destroyer. The process was originally supposed to begin in the previous week, but was postponed due to the defense lawyer's illness. A new defense lawyer was appointed on Wednesday, which led to the cancellation of the planned trial on Thursday. The next court date is scheduled for February 12th.

In Germany, several procedures are currently taking place against alleged members of the “Empire Group”, some of which have already been completed. Another procedure before the Koblenz Higher Regional Court is also concerned with overbearing plans and the planned kidnapping of Lauterbach.

The "Reich Citizens' Movement", which also includes the "Empire Group", is classified as extremist by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution. It consists of various anti -institutional, revisionist groups and individuals who reject the legitimacy of the Federal Republic of Germany and believe that the German Reich continues to exist within its limits from 1871 to 1918, as on Wikipedia described. The movement, which, according to estimates, has around 21,000 members in Germany (as of July 2021), is known for extremist views and violent activities and is closely monitored by the security authorities. Rumors and conspiracy theories, including anti -Semitism and racism, are also part of the ideology of many followers.
