The traffic situation at this point was confusing and dangerous for a long time, shaped by high traffic due to parent taxis and wild vehicles.

In October 2024 there was a unanimous decision in the building committee, which provided the redesign of the street. But the implementation of the measures was initially delayed. With a citizens' application by Michaela Frank and Hendrik Dehn, however, fresh wind was brought into the process. On April 24, 2025, the municipal council made a unanimous decision for immediate measures and comprehensive over -planning of the street.

The implementation of the measures is planned by the beginning of the school year 2025/26 at the latest. This initiative aims to improve the safety of the children on their way to school and daycare.
