Alcoholized ex-man committed threats-police have to intervene!

A dramatic incident occurred on Friday evening in Miltenberg when a 58-year-old man ran around with petrol in front of his ex-wife's house in a drunk. The alarmed police arrived quickly after a resident informed the operations center. The man threatened to light himself and had already poured petrol over himself when the patrol officers arrived. To prevent worse things, the police arrested him immediately, with an official being slightly injured.

The breath alcohol test resulted in a value of about 1.6 per thousand. A lighter and a knife were secured during the man's search. The Polish citizen, who is currently without a permanent residence, spent the night in the police cell. The next day he was brought up to an investigative judge who, due to the urgent suspicion of resistance to enforcement officers and other crimes, ordered custody. The man is now in a correctional facility.
