Secrets of the St. Marien Church: Discover Lübeck's sweetheart!
The St. Marien Church in Lübeck invites two special tours that give both insights into the impressive architecture and the individual stories of the church. These tours offer participants the opportunity to learn more about the different aspects of the church, which often remain hidden.
The first tour will take place on Thursday, March 6, at 4 p.m. Pastor Robert Pfeifer will lead the guests through the fasting side of the Marientidalar, which has been visible for a limited time since Ash Wednesday. This special topic promises not only historical, but also religious knowledge about the works of art and its importance.
Special topics and free participation
The second tour is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, at 12 p.m. Here is the topic "The windows of Johannes Schreiter - for the 95th birthday of the artist". In addition to Pastor Robert Pfeifer, Jochen Eicke will also guide the lead. The participants have the opportunity to visit the newly renovated letter chapel.
Both guided tours are free, but voluntary donations are requested to preserve the Marienkirche. In addition, focus tours are regularly offered in the St. Marien Church. These include topics such as the Antwerpen Marien altar, the Lübeck dead dance and the presentation of sacred works of art in the high choir.
Various church explorations are offered for children and adults, and interested groups can register via an inquiry form or the contact page of the church to find the right leadership. Further information about the management offer can be found on the page of st. Marien Lübeck can be read. These programs underline the commitment of the church to pass on cultural and religious knowledge and make the fascinating story of St. Marien accessible to a broad audience.Details | |
