Biberach is cheering: Nastassja Kinski and the film festival are starting!

The time has come, the Biberach Film Festival is starting! From October 29th to November 2nd, the city will be a venue for cineastes and film fans. With a fine program and over 100 filmmakers, this event will bring a breath of fresh air into the cinema halls. A special highlight this year: the celebrated actressNastassja Kinskiis awarded the honorary beaver. In doing so, she joins an illustrious group of award winners from recent years and is also making a name for herself in Biberach.

What can visitors expect? In the coming days, more than 50 films will be screened in six categories, including feature films, documentaries and short films. Weekly newspaper news reports, that it kicks off with the historical thriller “The Murderer's Greatest Hour,” which premieres on October 29th at 7:30 p.m. The story revolves around a mysterious series of murders in Prague in 1945 that takes place between Czech investigators and the German occupation.

Colorful program and star guests

The festival not only offers film screenings, but also numerous opportunities for exchange and networking. Members of the film teams will be present at all screenings, giving you the opportunity to talk directly to the creative minds behind the films. Party-goers can also expect balmy evenings on October 31st at the Hotel Kapuzinerhof; the film festival party is an absolute must for all fans.

On November 2nd, the festival will be crowned with the closing gala from 7:30 p.m. in the town hall. The Beaver Prizes and the Honorary Beaver are awarded here, with Willi Glück as moderator and musical accompaniment by Eva Zalenga. DJ teamUlmCITYafterwards ensures the right party atmosphere.
