TOP employers 2025: The best jobs in the catering and hotel industry!

In an exciting new edition of the Busche personnel study, the “TOP Employers 2025” in the hospitality industry were announced today. Over 3,600 employees from more than 200,000 companies in German-speaking countries cast their votes, making it clear which companies in the restaurant and hotel sector do it best in their opinion. This comprehensive study, carried out with the support of the Baden-Württemberg Ravensburg Cooperative State University (DHBW) under the direction of Prof. Dr. Almut Steinbach, highlights central topics such as working atmosphere, compensation, career opportunities, digitalization and work-life balance. According to Restaurant Rankings, the survey was carried out anonymously using an online survey tool.

The awards in the main categories are particularly impressive. In the hotel industry, a total of 41 companies were honored, while 25 catering companies won a prize. But that's not all: Five awards were also given out in special categories such as digitalization, further training and diversity, where the companies distinguished themselves through special achievements. In the special “Great Leader” category, 24 managers can look forward to receiving an award.

Experts like Prof. Dr. Sandra Rochnowski from the Berlin School of Economics and Law provided significant insights into employer attractiveness and sustainability strategies that are relevant for the future of the hospitality industry. According to Gastgewerbe.jobs, the study offers an important platform to annually evaluate and recognize employers in the hospitality industry. This shows that a good working environment not only benefits employees, but also companies that are interested in a consistently positive corporate culture.

The survey and the associated awards encourage companies to constantly refine their offerings and, above all, to focus on the needs of their employees. This is the key to a thriving hospitality industry in Germany and beyond.
