Tent Music Festival 2025: A summer full of music and culture in Freiburg!

The Tent Music Festival (ZMF) in Freiburg is just around the corner and promises an unforgettable experience for music and culture enthusiasts. Since 1983, the festival has attracted over 120,000 visitors and presents a diverse program that ranges from concerts to theater performances and readings. This year the colorful hustle and bustle will take place fromJuly 16 to August 3, 2025at Mundenhof. There is anticipation and a good mood in the air!

The main program, which is subject to a fee, takes place in two large tents: the circus tent and the Badische Zeitung tent. At the same time, guests can expect a free supporting program with an action program on several stages on which young talents and regional artists will perform. In addition to music groups, artist shows and dance performances, there will also be exciting workshops and hands-on activities. There is also special care for younger visitors: the special children's program opens its doors on Thursdays and Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. in the Badische Zeitung tent.

Arrival and parking options

There is good news for everyone traveling by car: the festival site is only seven kilometers from Freiburg city center. Drivers can reach the site via the A5, Freiburg-Mitte exit. The parking fee is 10 euros, from 9 p.m. only 5 euros. The VAG recommends a park-and-ride service on Munzinger Straße, while cyclists can park safely in the parking lot directly at the entrance.

For the environmentally conscious visit: The site is easily accessible by public transport. Tram line 3 and various bus lines take guests directly to the festival. A special bus line also provides additional trips and makes travel easier.
