A diverse program from the environmental education platform “Naturally Heidelberg” is coming up! In cooperation with the Bergstraße-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park and the Neckartal-Odenwald Nature Park, various exciting events will be offered in July 2025. It starts on Thursday, July 3, 2025, with the event “On the Trail of the Beaver,” which will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. An exciting start that attracts nature enthusiasts and explorers alike! On the following Friday, July 4th, participants can get to know the region's impressive meadows at “Experience the diversity of the Kohlhof meadows” between 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. It will be a feast for the senses!

Diverse events

Saturday, July 5th, offers several highlights: from “happy health hiking” in the morning to exploring the “island in the forest” in the afternoon. In addition, the “Garden Open Day” in the “Garden for All” invites all garden lovers from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to share their green happiness. On Tuesday, July 8th, there is the opportunity to learn more about the cultural history of the region on a “walk through the mountain cemetery”.

But that's not all! On Saturday, July 12th, the offering will be even richer with activities such as “Going wild again,” a mushroom culture lesson and the discovery of “gravel treasures” during an evening wild herb walk at 5 p.m. Those who stay until Sunday, July 13th will also find opportunities to explore: a herb hike in the morning and a session on healing mushrooms in the city forest in the afternoon round off the weekend perfectly.

The tour of the listed crematorium on Tuesday, July 15th also deserves special attention. An exciting experience with a deep insight into the history of the city of Heidelberg.
