Fridolin School in Lörrach: New educational room with a historical flair!

Lörrach, Deutschland - With a joyful ceremony, the Fridolin School in Lörrach was inaugurated on June 30, 2025. After several years of construction, students can now look forward to new, modern rooms. The event began with a rousing contribution of the students, followed by greetings from the guests of honor, who highlighted the importance of the school for the community.

The tour of the freshly renovated school buildings and the new sports hall, which offered the guests a comprehensive insight into the more modern classrooms, was particularly impressive. an outstanding project

Mayor Jörg Lutz described the Fridolin School as a "lighthouse project for Lörrach". This extensive renovation not only required technical sophistication, but also a high planning sensitivity to preserve the historical character of the more than 145 -year -old, listed school building. The historical slate roof was re -covered and the original parquet floors were processed. In addition, all windows were renewed and provided with sun protection, while a barrier -free elevator is used to ensure accessibility for all students: inside.

The equipment contains modern heating, electrical and digital infrastructures as well as complete fire protection enforcement. Mayor Lutz emphasized that the new sports hall fulfills a double function: it not only serves school sport, but also acts as a central heat supply station for the Stetten district. This shows the well thought -out planning and the future -oriented approach of the project, which benefits both the school community and the surrounding area.

future already in view

The Fridolin School is already celebrated as a modern learning location, which combines historical charm with contemporary requirements. As the regiotrends, the renovation of the school and the new building of the sports hall is an ongoing process in January 2021 "Refurbishment key" began by Mayor Lutz.
