At around 1:45 a.m., a 27-year-old man was driving a Mercedes GLC on Bahnhofstrasse when he crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a VW T-Roc. Both drivers suffered injuries, and two passengers in the VW, 37 and 38 years old, were lucky and escaped with minor injuries.
Both drivers were drunk - a circumstance that not only led to this specific accident.
