Sunshine for Baden-Württemberg: heat wave is coming!
The heat wave in Baden-Württemberg is finally over and the temperatures are cooling down to a comfortable level. The German Weather Service (DWD) has announced encouraging prospects for the coming days. On Sunday the sky is a bit cloudy at the beginning, but the sun soon appears. The temperatures range between 22 degrees in the Zollernalb and up to 27 degrees on the Rhine, while at night it cools down to a pleasant 14 to 11 degrees, and near Bavaria even to 9 degrees RNZ reported.
Monday will bring sunny weather that will continue. We can expect a few loose cumulus clouds during the day, but it will remain mostly dry. Temperatures climb to 29 degrees in the Upper Rhine Graben, while it remains at 24 degrees in the Allgäu. A light wind from the northeast ensures a pleasant climate, and on Tuesday night there will be a clear starry sky. The temperatures drop to 15 to 9 degrees.

On Tuesday we can expect lots of sun and hardly any clouds, with temperatures reaching up to 30 degrees in the Rhine lowlands. In the mountainous regions it is a little fresher with temperatures around 25 degrees. Weather.com reports that in other parts of Germany, especially in the northwest, high fog-like clouds are occurring in some areas, but this will soon clear up from the north. In the regions near the Alps we can even expect some showers and thunderstorms.
