The organizers respond quickly to the challenge. On the official festival website they have confirmed that the event will still take place despite the destruction. Around 400,000 visitors from more than 200 countries are expected over the next two weekends in the municipality of Boom, between Brussels and Antwerp. In addition, the campsite will open as planned on Thursday. According to AP News, those responsible are now concentrating on finding short-term solutions to still delight festival visitors.
