Stefan Mross, who has hosted the ARD program “Immerwieder sonntags” with charm and wit since 2005, is now giving insights into his future as a host. In the current edition, which aired on June 22, 2025, he discussed the possibility of a pension and the presentation of a possible successor. For the moderator, the desire for continuity and tradition seems to be of great importance. Mross explained that he would like to host the famous show for at least 30 years before the promising, talented boy, Dominik Simon from Ravensburg, could possibly take over.
Ten-year-old Dominik impressed the audience and Mross himself with his performance as a trumpeter and singer. Mross praised him and described him as the “presenter of tomorrow”. The show has a long-standing tradition of offering young talent the chance to prove themselves at the “red microphone” - a concept that offers both support and inspiration for emerging artists. Mross has experienced a lot in his career and looks back on countless unforgettable moments, including some that he would like to undo.
