Freckles Music Festival: Rottweil experiences musical delights!

On June 30, 2025, a very special event will take place in the Rottenmünster's Art Nouveau Hall. The Rottweiler music festival “Frempersprossen” starts with a brilliant start, opened by the renowned Signum Quartet under the direction of artistic director Florian Donderer. The concert is entitled “Fort Steps” and promises to delight guests with a varied program. Loud Swabian The program includes works by Haydn, Dvořák and the Czech composer Vítězslava Kaprálová.

The festival begins at 7 p.m. with a prelude performed by a flute trio from the Municipal Music School under the direction of Irene Soloducha-Moleta. This is followed by a performance of the “Bird Quartet” by Joseph Haydn, part of his famous “Russian Quartets” from 1781. Afterwards, visitors can experience the String Quartet Op. 8 by Vítězslava Kaprálová, the first woman to conduct the Czech Philharmonic. The crowning conclusion is the String Quartet in G major op. 106 by Antonín Dvořák, who returned to his native Czech Republic after two and a half years in New York.

The ticket prices are extremely fair at 29 euros (31 euros at the box office) and a real bargain for music lovers. Particularly worth mentioning: Entry is free for everyone up to 18 years old!
