A variety of events delight the region at the weekend!
There was a lot going on in the region last weekend, November 7th to 9th. Many events created a lively atmosphere and attracted numerous visitors. The book presentation by Andy Hör with his new work “What I can see” in Schonach stood out, while the night of lights in Villingen, organized by the Oberzentrum trade association (GVO), let the city shine in festive light.
Further highlights were the anniversary celebration of the Oberbaldingen Music Association in Unterbaldingen and the SC Baar Brettlemarkt in Donaueschingen, where numerous ski equipment changed hands. Music lovers got their money's worth at the annual concert of the Hubertshofen brass band, which also said goodbye to conductor Willi Winterhalder.
Cultural performances and sporting events
The cultural offerings were just as varied: the amateur theater group SV Fützen delighted people with the comedy “Morality is if you do it anyway” in the Buchberghalle. A sold-out concert by Ray Wilson took place in the Oberndorf monastery church and was very popular. There is also great enthusiasm for the performance “There is a train going to somewhere” by the Deißlinger Gassentheater in the Deißlingen community center.
Sporting activities were not neglected: around 460 participants took part in the Zollerberglauf in Hechingen, while the opening of the Albstadt Railway Technology Club (ETC) in the former Tailfinger train station was met with great interest. The Southwest model railway group in Baiersbronn also enjoyed enthusiastic visitors.
Market and trade fair visits in the area
The Ortenaukreis presented itself at the Martinimarkt in Ettenheim, which attracted high numbers of visitors and a colorful offering. Music lovers were able to enjoy the annual concert of the men's choir “Schutterbund” in Schuttertal, while Thomas Kaiser was honored for his services with the highest award from the Association of Upper Rhine Fools' Guilds. The colorful evening of the Wiechser Buure carnival offered a variety of program items and created a good atmosphere.
For anyone looking for events in Cologne and the surrounding area, the Rausgehen* platform is an excellent place to go. There you will not only find information about concerts, flea markets and plays, but also insider tips and everything about festivals. The diverse selection and the possibility of following secret concerts make Rausgehen the ideal guide for visiting events.
In summary, the weekend from November 7th to 9th was characterized by a colorful mix of culture, music and sport in the region. One could say: The region has once again shown that it has a good hand for large events.
