Kastelruther Spatzen rock at the Pfullywood Festival despite the rain!
The Kastelruther Spatzen gave an atmospheric concert on Wednesday evening, August 28, 2025, in the Seepark Pfullendorf despite the rain. The start of the popular “Pfullywood Festival” attracted numerous fans who were undeterred by the weather conditions. The famous folk musicians took the stage at 7:30 p.m., and their performance ended at 10:00 p.m., supplemented by a 30-minute break. Moderator Hansy Vogt, known from television as “Frau Wäber”, led the evening and created the right atmosphere.
Before and after the Kastelruther Spatzen performance, the “home heroes” heated up the crowd. This group of musicians, made up of talented musicians from the Southwest, brings over 200 years of performing experience. Their music combines different styles and instruments, from the classic Oberkrainer line-up with clarinet and trumpet to more modern sounds with electric guitar and drums. The Heimathelden not only stand for handmade music, but also for a mix of Egerland polka and party music that gets the audience moving.
The rest of the festival
The concerts in the Seepark continue until August 30th. On August 28th, fans can expect Max Giesinger and Leony, who will be on stage from 7:00 p.m. On August 29th there will be “Pfullyboom”, a musical spectacle with DJ Ötzi, Ben Zucker, Michelle, Eric Philippi and Alexandra Hoffmann. Check-in begins at 5:00 p.m. and the program starts at 7:00 p.m. The crowning finale will be Andrea Berg on August 30th, whose performance begins at 8:00 p.m., while the supporting program starts at 6:00 p.m.
Events like these show how lively the cultural scene is. The Pfullywood Festival not only brings well-known artists to the stage, but also offers a platform for local talent. Music groups like the Heimathelden contribute to the diversity of the festival and create a rich musical experience.
The evening at Seepark Pfullendorf was a complete success for the Kastelruther Spatzen fans. Despite the rain, the music resonated far across the square and put everyone in a good mood. The anticipation for the next concerts as part of the festival remains high. A successful event where everyone got their money's worth and took home a lot of fun.
