SC 04 Tuttlingen: Escaped relegation with new momentum!

SC 04 Tuttlingen stumbled through some rough waters at the start of the 2025 season. Five defeats in the first five games was not only a hard blow for the team, but also for the loyal fans. This bitter balance is reflected, among other things, in the results: a narrow 0:1 against TSF Dornhan, a 1:2 against SV Nehren, a promising 3:4 against VfB Bösingen and further challenges against SV Seedorf and BSV 07 Schwenningen, which were also lost.

Coach Andreas Probst admitted that the performance was good, but the team lacked the necessary experience. The departure of five regular players in particular, including Török, Burdun and Dibba, left its mark. Nevertheless, Tuttlingen managed to celebrate their first win on matchday six - a well-deserved 2-0 against TSV Frommern, which brought the first ray of hope of the season. During the changes, the young goalkeeper Luca Moser and central defender Moritz Walz played a key role. Mario Giesler was also a very important man, scoring eleven goals and acting as an emotional leader.

A fresh wind is blowing

But the good news for SC 04 Tuttlingen doesn't stop there! With Amadou Diallo and Mario Giesler, there are now two new additions who should bring a breath of fresh air into the ranks. Giesler, who played for SC until 2016 and then had stints in Bad Dürrheim and Villingen, returns with valuable experience. The 19-year-old Diallo, fresh from 1. FC Erlensse, also brings young blood and fresh ideas after previously playing in the youth ranks at Bahlinger SC.

Both players are important pieces of the puzzle to not only keep SC 04 Tuttlingen in the state league, but also to establish themselves. The Württemberg Regional League is the second highest league of the Württemberg Football Association and offers four seasons that are full of competition and passion. Tuttlingen can therefore build on the achievements of the new squad. With a goal of 40 points this season, Probst's men have proven that they are ready to fight relegation.

Back on the road to success

The team has proven that it is capable of getting out of trouble and has developed a strong transition game. Speed on the outside and dynamic offensive play are the new keywords that are on the agenda in Tuttlingen football. Buba Camara, who secured the title of top scorer with 19 goals, became the figurehead of the offensive.

Probst will have to continue to improvise in the coming weeks, but confidence in his players is growing. The challenges in the state league are great, but after their first win and with increased self-confidence, Tuttlingen can start the next games optimistically. So it remains exciting to see how SC 04 will fare in this highly competitive league!
