SSV Niedersonthofen started the season well after being promoted from the district class and is in second place with 12 points from five games. With four wins they can also look forward to an impressive goal difference of 11:7. The offensive is particularly to be praised here: five goals on the last matchday are a clear indicator of their ambitions. Hollenbach, on the other hand, is struggling on offense and has only scored four goals – the third-worst record in the league. Nevertheless, the defense has the seventh best statistics with only five goals conceded.
Hollenbach's challenges
Assistant coach Fatih Cosar expresses the urgent desire for an improvement in the offensive. However, he emphasizes that there is enough potential at Hollenbach to turn the tide. Things remain exciting at the moment, as Hollenbach has to make several changes to the starting line-up due to injuries and vacation requests. Player-coach Christoph Burkhard and midfield motor Philipp Baier are out due to injuries, which doesn't make the situation any easier for the team.
To show her support, Hollenbach is planning to travel to the game by bus. Departure is at 10:15 a.m. so that the players and fans arrive in Niedersonthofen on time. The cohesion in the team and the support of their own fans could be crucial in order to survive against the offensively strong newcomer.
