New format against racism: regulars' table in Altötting takes off!

On October 2, 2025, a new non-partisan format against racism was launched in the Altötting and Mühldorf districts. The background to this initiative is the worrying increase in ethnic, racist and xenophobic rhetoric in Bavaria and Germany. More and more voices protesting against discriminatory political demands seem to be falling silent these days. Therefore, the regulars' table has set itself the goal of acting as a strong opposing voice and promoting a tolerant and accepting community. Democratic team reports that the founding of the Stammtisch is also a response to the increasing tolerance towards discriminatory views in the region.

The regulars' table connects people and groups with different interests. The aim is to create both temporary and permanent work and action groups that actively take action against racism. In addition to networking, another focus is on transferring knowledge and creating a platform for exchange, especially with regard to racially-related conflicts. This should happen not only through serious discussions, but also through entertaining event formats that strengthen community cohesion. Loud StammtiggeR The regulars' table is therefore an important contact point for everyone who wants to work towards tolerant coexistence.

Meetings and organization

The regulars' table rounds take place twice a month: always on the first Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in the AMK Bunker in Altötting and in the third week of the month with a special event that is announced on the website and social media. Every meeting is open to everyone, provided that the participants have a non-racist and tolerant attitude. It is important that no club membership or social media account is required; participation is anonymous and barrier-free. This makes access easier and creates a welcoming atmosphere for everyone interested.

The regulars' table is sponsored by an association that takes on the organizational tasks. However, it should be made clear that this association has no influence on the content or freedom of discussions within the regulars' table. Johannes Dalhoff took responsibility for the orientation and organization until it was entered in the association register.

The regulars' table not only provides a space for exchange, but is a sign that in times of increasing social division and discrimination, a strong and comprehensive counter-movement is necessary. The joint effort against racism is needed more than ever and everyone is therefore invited to actively participate and work for a fairer society.
