A tragic motorcycle accident shakes the region around Münsing: A 52-year-old motorcyclist lost his life on the B11 on Thursday morning, September 18, 2025, after colliding with a truck. The driver of the truck, a 55-year-old from Rhineland-Palatinate, did not respect the motorcyclist's right of way when turning from the A95 onto the B11 South German newspaper reported.
The motorcyclist, who comes from the Starnberg district, was heading towards Wolfratshausen around 10:50 a.m. The collision was so violent that the driver was trapped under the truck and had to be freed by the fire department. Despite quick medical help, he was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he died a short time later. The truck driver suffered shock and was also treated on site.

The property damage is estimated at around 15,000 euros, and the federal highway was closed for several hours. A total of 25 emergency services were on site, including the rescue service, the Wolfratshausen police, and the Münsing and Wolfratshausen volunteer fire departments, which were deployed together with the Weilheim traffic police and an expert to carry out an accident report.
