Bamberg: 5,000 euros for better daycare offers for our children!

Great joy in Bamberg: The AWO Kreisverband Bamberg Stadt und Land e.V. has received funding of 5,000 euros from the MORGENSTERN Lutz-Frischmann Foundation. This sum is specifically invested in improving and expanding support services for children in the provider's daycare centers. Matthias Kirsch, the managing director of the AWO district association, emphasizes how important this support is for the individual development of the little protégés. “There’s something there,” he says, emphasizing the positive influence on the children’s motor and social development.

The funding will be used, among other things, to purchase toys that promote motor skills and sun protection for the daycare centers. This is particularly relevant since the association currently looks after 14 daycare centers in and around Bamberg and can count on its valuable work from over 1,000 full-time and volunteer employees. “The commitment to children is very important to us,” continued Kirsch.

Foundation work with heart

Stephan Masch, representative of the MORGENSTERN Lutz-Frischmann-Stiftung, sees this collaboration as the basis for a long-term partnership. “We want to support the children sustainably and help them develop their talents in the best possible way,” he explains. The foundation, which was founded in 2009 and is based in Munich, is recognized as charitable and focuses primarily on supporting educational and youth projects as well as children's hospice work.

The MORGENSTERN Foundation is known for its unbureaucratic and direct support. It only supports non-profit institutions and projects that do not require government support. Volunteers use the donated funds specifically on site and minimize expenses for administrative tasks in order to maximize the effectiveness of the funds. Those interested can find out more about the foundation's projects and philosophy on the official homepage MORGENSTERN Lutz Frischmann Foundation.

Together for the future of children

The commitment of the AWO and the MORGENSTERN Foundation shows once again how important mutual support is for the development of young people in Germany. The funding provided is not just a financial subsidy, but an important signal that the course is being set for a positive childhood. The commitment to high-quality support offers creates a foundation on which the children can grow safely and develop their abilities.
