On September 5, 2025, around 1:50 p.m., a traffic accident occurred in Bamberg that injured a 48-year-old cyclist. The driver turned from Pödeldorfer Straße onto the Berliner Ring and overlooked the cyclist who was about to cross the ring. The collision caused the cyclist to fall, who was slightly injured and then had to be taken to the hospital. The driver suffered shock and was cared for on site.[ inFranken reported ]
