On Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, a moving event took place in the New Town Hall: Mayor Thomas Ebersberger honored numerous volunteers, including school route helpers, school bus attendants and members of the security guard. In his speech, Ebersberger emphasized the immense importance of volunteer work for the community. “These people take responsibility for our city and make a huge difference in the everyday lives of the citizens,” said the mayor, who thanked those present on behalf of the entire population. The focus was particularly on Renate Tannreuther, who has worked as a school helper on Meyernberger Straße for over 25 years.
