Coburg becomes Klein Rio: Samba festival delights thousands of visitors!
On Saturday, July 12, 2025, Coburg will once again be transformed into a colorful center of Brazilian joie de vivre. The long-awaited International Samba Festival is getting underway, with an incredible 3,000 artists and up to 180,000 visitors expected in the city. Market and culinary
The Coburg Summer Market starts on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 8 a.m. and includes a general market. On Friday, July 18th, the vegetable market will supplement the offering with fresh, regional products. The culinary highlights of the summer market include cocktails, galettes, fish rolls and vegan specialties as well as the popular Coburg bratwurst.
Although the food stalls are already full, there are still a few spots available for artisans. Interested providers must fill out an application form, supported by an informative photo of the stand. Fairtrade products are preferred, and attention is paid to compliance with the relevant certificates, as you want to have a good handle on the variety of stands in order to make the festival unforgettable.
