Hit-and-run on B303: witnesses urgently wanted!
An interesting weekend in the Upper Franconia region shows the latest incidents reported by the police today [WiesentBote]. On November 2, 2025, there were several traffic accidents that not only created additional work for the officers, but were also likely to be a topic of conversation among the population.
Accident escape on the B303 near Ahorn
On Saturday evening, a 24-year-old driver who was traveling from Eicha to Coburg was involved in an incident that heated up emotions. Presumably a silver Ford driving in the opposite direction on the B303 damaged her vehicle. The material damage amounts to around 500 euros. A call for witnesses was launched; Both the injured party and witnesses to the incident should contact 09561/645-0. Interestingly, driving away after a parking collision is considered a hit-and-run and is strictly prosecuted. Anyone who leaves the scene of an accident without permission will face severe penalties, as stated on the website ADAC can be read.
So what do you do in an accident? The police recommend that you remain at the scene until the officers arrive if necessary. A note on the windshield is not enough!
