A look outside the box: handball in the German youth sector
But it's not just in Coburg that something is happening in the handball world. Borussia Dortmund's handball ladies, who are enjoying a well-deserved break until the beginning of July, are also training diligently. Coach Henk Groener emphasizes the importance of recovery and has created individual training plans for each player. Preparations for the 2025/26 season begin for the women with medical checks and performance diagnostics, followed by a short training camp in Winterberg bvb.de reported.
This shows that handball in Germany is flourishing on several levels. Whether in the youth sector with the promotion of the HSC 2000 Coburg or in the preparations of the Bundesliga women - the enthusiasm and commitment for this sport is obvious.
