New board team elected in the Ruhstorf women's and mothers' association!
The last meeting of the Ruhstorf Christian Women's and Mothers' Association brought a breath of fresh air into the board's work. On November 10, 2025, new elections took place in the Schützenheim, which brought with them an exciting innovation: Instead of a classic distribution of tasks, a board team was elected. This decision is intended to give the group more dynamism and flexibility, which could be of great use in creative and collaborative club activities. The PNP reports that long-time chairwoman Gerlinde Danner remains active in the management circle.
The members received a warm welcome and were able to enjoy a rich cake and tart buffet provided by the board. Ralf Schäfer took the opportunity to inform those present about high-quality oils, while Heidi Lachner explained the club's current finances. Gerlinde Danner then looked back on the past years of club life and called on everyone present to take part in the upcoming day of remembrance.
Ceremonial honors and a new board
The honoring of long-standing members was particularly celebratory. Helga Brandhuber, Daniela Hammerstingl, Manuela Kerscher and Christine Wagner were honored for 25 years of membership in the club. Lotte Beer, Renate Frischhut, Monika Hochhäusl, Katharina Leitl and Aloisia Maier, who have been members of the club for 40 years, celebrated an even bigger anniversary. The new members Lena Kempfler, Marina Koller, Christine Wieser and Eva Wührer were also welcomed and received a scarf and the mothers' association booklet. Clubs.de emphasizes how important such communities are for civil society and how they help members to make new contacts and become actively involved.
A special moment was the official farewell to Gerlinde Danner and Waltraud Joachim, who both left their positions after 23 years. While Waltraud Joachim has been first chairwoman since 2002, Gerlinde Danner has acted as second chairwoman since 2016. Their many years of commitment were honored with thank you gifts to Helga Wimmer, Anna Wührer, Ilona Kleiner and Christiane Bauer. In an exciting election process, led by the second mayor Petra Schulte, who described the association as a “success story”, a new board team was elected.
The team is made up of confirmed members such as Edeltraud Zeltenhammer (secretary) and Heidi Lachner (treasurer) as well as new faces: Steffi Brunner, Andrea Erhardsberger, Claudia Fuchsberger, Irene Busler, Sonja Hochholzer, Claudia Mühlbauer, Anita Kleiner, Veronika Haslbeck, Doris Müller and Beate Maier. Katrin Kaltenberger takes on the task of checking the cash register.
The exciting development among Ruhstorf women and mothers shows how important such initiatives are today. They not only offer a platform for networking in the community, but also an opportunity to pursue personal interests and actively participate in social life. Stop by and become part of this vibrant community.
