In the picturesque village of Odensaxony, which has just 180 souls, the festival season will be ushered in again from July 15th to 18th, 2026. The reason: the now nationally known Haune Rock Festival. It is the ninth edition of this special event, which has developed over the years from a rock-heavy event into a colorful melting pot of different musical genres. Not only rock, but also pop, punk and hip-hop are offered - so there should be something for every musical taste. Loud Regional reporter The organizers from Odensaxony have already confirmed the first bands for 2026.
The confirmed acts include the well-known groups Royal Republic, Fiddler’s Green and Adam Angst. But also newcomers like Tripkid, Hi! Spencer, The Livelines and Sänäpause will liven up the stages. The full line-up will be announced later in 2025, so anticipation among fans continues to grow. Just recently, the 2025 festival was completely sold out for the first time - clear evidence of the popularity of the event.
A celebration for the community
Haune-Rock is often referred to as the smallest festival village in the world and therefore stands out clearly from large events. Here the focus is on community and the special togetherness of visitors. This is also confirmed by the results of a nationwide festival study, which shows that music festivals not only make a decisive contribution to Germany's cultural landscape, but also offer important platforms for social interactions and cultural diversity. In addition to musical entertainment, many festivals also promote charitable causes and offer workshops and educational formats to enrich the festival experience. The study also showed that around 81% of the festivals integrated social or cultural supporting programs, which is very important in Odensaxony. Loud Federal Foundation LiveCulture Most festivals take place in cities with fewer than 100,000 inhabitants - definitely an advantage for smaller places like Odensachsen.
There are different ticket options for festival visitors: a festival ticket costs 80 euros, while the ticket including camping is available for 110 euros. This makes the event an attractive destination for music lovers who not only value the music, but also the special atmosphere in a small circle. The festival site in 36166 Haunetal-Odensachsen will once again be a place for gatherings and shared experiences.
Stay tuned for more information and the full lineup to be released later this year. Haune-Rock 2026 promises to be another highlight in the festival scene, not just for the local community, but for all music enthusiasts from near and far.
