After a stormy night, the weather in Bavaria remains autumn. The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued current warnings for almost the entire state. Storm gusts can be expected in the east and until evening in the north and south. However, persistent storms are not in sight, since the emergency services in Bavaria have so far only had to do with minor missions, such as crippled branches and fallen fences. On Saturday afternoon, Aquaplaning on Autobahn 9 near Bayreuth caused several accidents that were luckily without injuries. However, the damage totaled around 20,000 euros. The weather forecast for today provides for cloudy sections, coupled with showers and possibly a few short thunderstorms. Longer rains can be expected on the Alps, while snow falls above 1500 meters.

In today's weather conditions, residents can count on maximum temperatures of 10 degrees in the low mountain ranges and up to 15 degrees on the Danube. In particular, stormy gusts with wind speeds of up to 60 km/h can be expected around the alpine peaks, while the DWD even expects gusts around 70 to 80 km/h for the ridges of the low mountain ranges and alpine peaks. Lots of clouds and some rain every now and then could ensure fresh temperatures in the next few nights. It gets cold between 9 and 4 degrees, especially near the Alps and the low mountain ranges. Friday will initially bring cloudy weather, but from the morning onwards the weather will clear up in some areas.
