Shaping the future: Citizens' event in Erding on neighborhood development!

Something is happening in Erding! On Wednesday, November 26th, an important event will take place as part of the Integrated Neighborhood Development Concept (IQEK) Altenerding. At 6 p.m., the school cafeteria of the Carl Orff Elementary School, Lange Feldstraße 31, invites you to a presentation of the results of online citizen participation from last summer. This is a great opportunity for all citizens to play an active role in shaping their district. Possible measures and their prioritization will then be discussed in an open discussion.

Anyone who would like to take part in this event can register by Monday, November 17th at is.gd/Q8hAUB register. The survey documentation is below www.erding.de/iqek-altenerding available. Citizens' commitment is required because, after all, every vote counts when it comes to the future of the district.

Cats and their health

A completely different but equally important topic is the health of cats. FIV-positive cats in particular often require veterinary care because their immune systems are weakened. Feline AIDS, caused by feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), has no cure. But how felmo.de describes, good therapy can significantly improve the quality of life of the affected animals.

The therapy goals are diverse: from strengthening the immune system to slowing down virus replication with the help of antiviral drugs to treating secondary diseases that occur. A common challenge is choosing the right medication; Cortisone, for example, should be avoided. Vaccinations must also be discussed individually with the veterinarian so as not to put additional strain on the weakened immune system.

Tips for a healthy cat life

Purring cats who are FIV-positive should be kept indoors if possible to avoid the risk of infection for other sleepyheads. However, the risk of infection in the same household is low as long as there are no biting or fights for rank. Hygiene at feeding and lying areas is crucial to keep bacteria and other pathogens away. A balanced diet that includes high-quality wet food without carbohydrates is another essential piece of the puzzle for the animals' well-being.

Cats should avoid stress; Opportunities for retreat and peace are worth their weight in gold for your health. These are practical tips that should be remembered so that our favorite companions stay healthy and happy for as long as possible.
