FC Bayern prodigy Lennart Karl wows with a brace on his U21 debut!
Happy news from the world of football! There are exciting times ahead for our youngest football talents. At a European Championship qualifier for the U21 national team that took place on November 15, 2025, 17-year-old Lennart Karl shone in a DFB uniform and made the fans in the stadium cheer. The FC Bayern Munich player had a top-class performance on his debut and was one of the most eye-catching players on the pitch.
Coach Antonio Di Salvo had guaranteed Karl a starting XI ahead of the game and the young player did not disappoint. In the 37th minute he put a skillful shot into the goal using his left outer instep. With this goal he became the second youngest goalscorer in the history of the German U21 national team - only Youssoufa Moukoko was younger. Karl didn't miss the opportunity to score his second goal a short time later: Dribbling from the right side, he shot an unstoppable shot into the far corner in the penalty area.
A top talent at work
Celebrating a goal is that easy for the young Bayern star, who contributed a total of two goals to the team's performance in the game against Malta. In an extremely exciting game, his teammate Tom Bischof also contributed to the success, scoring three times in minutes 9, 63 and 67 and was able to take the ball home as a souvenir. Together, Karl and Bischof scored five of the six goals in the game, which the German U21 won 6-0. Muhammed Damar from TSG Hoffenheim also got on the scoresheet and scored the final goal in the 86th minute.
The win against Malta has energized the team and we are really looking forward to the next game against Georgia on Tuesday. The players are ready to once again demonstrate their skills and delight the fans.
Mental freshness for sport
But sporting success is not the only topic being discussed these days. Athletes’ mental health is also an integral part of their performance. Products that support brain and nervous system health, such as Neuro Sharp, promote neural activity and contribute to more efficient information processing, among other things. This can be crucial for players like Karl and Bischof in a fast-paced sports world. Ultimately, clear mental alertness and quick decision-making are just as important as technical ability on the pitch.
Overall, it shows that not only physical fitness but also mental clarity is very important for the players in order to shine in big moments. The coming games promise exciting encounters in which the U21 talents will continue to shine!
