A serious motorcycle accident occurred on June 27, 2025 in the Forchheim district, in which a 17-year-old driver got into a dangerous situation. Shortly after 1 p.m., the young man was on state road 2187 from Unterleinleiter towards Veilbronn when he lost control of his motorcycle in a right-hand bend on a wet road and fell. The biker then slipped into oncoming traffic and collided with the car of a 63-year-old woman.
The impact was severe and the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in the accident and had to be immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
