Big fundraising campaign in Freising: Help where it's needed!

There is movement in the willingness to help again in Freising! The hair salon chain Tim & Sainer has collected a donation of 1,200 euros to support the “People in Need” campaign. The generous check was presented by a dedicated team consisting of Timothy Gavin, Paula Stöhr, Emely Lamprecht and Tatjana Grün. This initiative is a ray of hope for many people in need in the Freising district and shows how important community spirit is. Mercury reports that The campaign specifically supports people who have found themselves in emergencies, be it due to violence, illness or family problems.

An example from the region is young Xaver, who was attacked with a knife on the S-Bahn without warning and seriously injured. Since then, he has urgently needed legal and therapeutic help, which can be supported by donations like those from Tim & Sainer. Michaela, a child who grows up without the care of her parents and has difficulties at school, also receives support from the St. Klara youth welfare day care center. A nest swing is purchased for the playground to make the children happy. Without donations, all this support would not be possible.

Networking and support

The charity campaign is supported by the Freisinger Tagblatt and is run by a non-profit organization that works closely with social organizations such as Caritas, Lebenshilfe and AWO. These organizations, along with smaller neighborhood organizations and shelters, do important work in the district. Unfortunately, government funding is often not enough to provide sufficient help in each individual case.

Whether companies, clubs or private individuals – every euro counts and is welcome! On the occasion of their tenth anniversary, the hairdressers themselves not only wielded the scissors, but also actively cut hair and collected donations to draw attention to the needs in the area.

It is encouraging to see how the Freising community comes together to support people who have been affected by strokes of fate. Such actions are not only a sign of solidarity, but also a call for everyone to get involved and make a difference. If each of us contributes a small part, together we can achieve great things.
