Seven Wolfstein referees are promoted – Küblböck to the U19 Bundesliga!

A promotion that brings joy: The Wolfstein referee group can look with pride at seven of its members who are now promoted to higher leagues. Particularly noteworthy is Tobias Küblböck, who will referee in the U19 Bundesliga from next season. This is a big step for the talented referee from SV Weiß-Blau Untergriesbach, like the PNP reported.

But his colleagues can also be happy: Dominik Färber (DJK Holzfreyung) as well as Andreas Kloiber (SV Grainet) and Johannes Hoffmeister (FC Dreisessel) have made it to the district league. The district league also has new faces with Jakob Philipp (FC Büchlberg), Jan Osterkorn (TSV Walkirchen) and Lukas Schönberger (DJK Böhmzwiesel). These developments show that referee training in the region is bearing fruit.

What's next for our referees?

Promotion to the higher leagues is not the end, but rather the beginning of a new chapter for the referees of the Wolfstein group. Training to become a football referee is an essential part of your career. The Bavarian Football Association (BFV) requires referees to attend at least five training evenings in order to always stay up to date. The training costs amount to around 50 euros and include both the course and the initial equipment, which is usually covered by the clubs, according to the information BFV.

For anyone interested in referee training, there is a course from Friday, July 18th to Sunday, July 20th. Registrations are possible via the SRG Wolfstein registration form or directly from GSO Josef Seidl and GLW Christoph Kirchberger. A passion for refereeing and a willingness to take on responsibility are the cornerstones of a successful career.

Statistics and challenges

In the current 2024/2025 season, the statistics of the referees are of great importance. They not only provide information about the referees' performance, but also about the dynamics of the games. The Sport.de Platform shows that referees like Fabian Kiehl, Dominik Minke and many others have already been active in several games and have handed out numerous cards. This highlights the challenges associated with this task.

Football referees usually contribute to the proper conduct of games, but also have to deal with the high level of responsibility and occasional critical voices from fans and players. They are insured by the BFV during their operations, which gives them a certain level of support.

The Wolfstein referee group has shown a good hand at promoting its talent in recent years, and the promotion of these seven referees is a testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone involved. We congratulate the promoted teams and wish them much success in their new leagues!
