Things get really colorful in Olching in June! The Olchinger Volksfest starts in the festival tent on Wednesday, June 18th, and there is a lot to discover. How South Germans reports, visitors can not only look forward to rides such as the popular Ferris wheel and children's carousels, but also to an exciting auction of FC Bayern memorabilia. A special highlight will be a hand-signed Bundesliga jersey and a football from Aleksandar Pavlović, who was born in Olching.
The proceeds from the auction go to the Olching City Foundation and support various charitable projects. The event will be moderated by Mayor Andreas Magg, who will open the auction at 7 p.m. The festival itself lasts until Sunday, June 22nd.

The Olchinger Volksfest returned in 2022 after a two-year Corona break. How Mercury reported that the mood in the festival hall was cheerful as usual. In only one fight, which was caused by an argument between two men, there were no major incidents. Folk festival speaker Andreas Hörl expressed confidence about the process, while beer sales increased by a whopping 25 percent compared to 2019.
