On November 9th, 2025, the Ebern Christ Church will be the venue for a special service at which the well-known Christian songwriter Andy Weiss the musical accompaniment takes over. The service begins at 10 a.m. and is characterized by theological and therapeutic ideas from his project “Jesus, the loving therapist”. The congregation is cordially invited to sing together with Andi Weiss and to embark on this spiritual journey.
Andi Weiss, who has been active in German-speaking countries for over 15 years and has more than 1,000 appearances to his credit, knows how to present the stories of Jesus in a touching way. In addition to his musical talent, he has extensive therapeutic knowledge and has accompanied a large number of people in challenging moments in life throughout his career. How the main post reports, Weiss also received the Hanns Seidel Foundation's “Young Talent Prize for Song Poets” for his work.
Evening and afternoon events
A benefit concert will take place in the Eberner Frauengrundhalle on November 8th at 8 p.m., which is intended to bring the community together and collect donations for a good cause. On Sunday, November 9th, there will be a logotherapy lecture in the same hall at 3 p.m. Anyone interested can get the tickets from the Ebern reading island. Admission to the service is free, but donations are very welcome.
In his performances, Weiss combines his therapeutic insights with biblical messages and invites people to embark on a journey of discovery towards inner healing and reconciliation. The healing power of these encounters has a very special meaning for him. “The words, gestures and conversations of Jesus develop a liberating power,” explains the songwriter, who, during his many performances, always tries to create a closeness to people who accept and do not judge.
