Adventure farm Pflügler: A festival of regional diversity in Neufahrn!
In Neufahrn, where fresh country air meets innovative concepts, the Pflügler family's adventure farm finally opened its doors on October 3 and 4, 2025 after a five -year development period. Not only was celebrated through the Hoffest, but also the connection between agriculture and society. The Pflügler family, who took over the 2018 farm, proves a good knack for the future. Her farm, which has existed since 1913, is now a multifunctional center in the heart of the region.
The Hoffest offered visitors a colorful program with regional products, tours of the new institutions and diverse events. "We want to contact our visitors and show what we produce in harmony with nature," says Carolin Pflügler. A special highlight was the inauguration of the new brewery, which enables guests to cost homemade beers. The product range ranges from fresh fruit and vegetables to meat products and self -laid eggs, all of which are sold directly in the farm shop. Here, buyers can understand the origin and production conditions of the products and thus enjoy regionality and transparency up close.
New concept with great challenges
The planning and implementation of the new courtyard was not a sugar slack for the plüglers. Bureaucratic hurdles, non-approved development plans, cost explosions and delivery difficulties by the Corona pandemic and the Ukraine War showed great challenges. Overall, the costs of the project were around 12.5 million euros. Nevertheless, the Pflüglers retained their courage and perseverance, which was not least recognized by Stefan Hörmann, the managing director of the Bavarian Farmers' Association.
The first construction work began on February 22, 2022, and the family moved to the new farm at the end of 2024. Now visitors in the new multifunctional building, which among other things have a hall, a kitchen, a seminar room and apartments for students, can discover the many facets of the farm life. "We are pleased that we could create this place of encounter," said Carolin Pflügler.
Direct marketing as the key to the future
The Pflüglerhof is not only a place of production, but also a lighthouse for direct marketing. In an environment, where more and more people value origin and quality, farm shops are becoming increasingly important. According to agriculture.de, direct marketing not only enables farmers a stronger market position, but also a direct exchange with consumers. More and more companies are therefore relying on their own farm shops, weekly markets or even abocists, where regional products are delivered directly to the front door.
In this context, the adventure spirit of the Pflüglers shows how important it is to go innovative ways in agriculture and actively integrate consumers. In addition to marketing your own products, cooperation with neighboring producers is also used to strengthen the market position.
During the hope, it was possible for the visitors not only to visit the brewery and the kitchen, but also to gain an insight into the corn. The products generated should not only cover your own use, but also contribute to the supply of the region. The Pflüglerhof not only takes on a pioneering role in agriculture, but is also an example of how to combine tradition and innovation.
