30 years of love and care: Wartenberg's House for Children is celebrating its anniversary!
A small but nice ceremony took place recently House for children in Wartenberg to celebrate Sylvia Kebesch's 30th anniversary. She has been running this facility with a lot of passion for three decades, and it has now become an important source of support for many families. The surprise celebration, which took place without children, was used by deputy director Melanie Wiesmaier to praise Kebesch for her extraordinary work.
A total of 139 children are looked after here - a mix of crèche and kindergarten children. The facility opened in 1993 and today consists of three crèche groups and five kindergarten groups. Of these, 32 are children under the age of three, while 107 children are already of preschool age. It is a real challenge and at the same time a joy to accompany so many little personalities.
Special awards
In the midst of the celebrations, not only Kebesch, but also the long-time childcare worker Ulrike Kretz were honored. She has been there for 32 years House for children and completed her training there. Today she works in the crèche and also received flowers and a gift in recognition of her great work. Like Kebesch herself, Kretz also has the phrase “Time flies” in her heart, because she too can look back on a wonderful time.
During the celebration, Kebesch emphasized how important team spirit is and that she enjoys working with the children and their families. This passion can be felt throughout the entire facility - here we not only provide care, but also promote cooperation, which is crucial for the healthy development of the little ones.
