In an exciting ice hockey game, the Ravensburg Towerstars lost against EV Landshut 3:4 on November 5, 2025 after a thrilling penalty shootout. The game in the CHG Arena attracted 3,051 spectators and offered numerous highlights.
Landshut got off to a better start and took the lead 1-0 in the 6th minute through David Elsner. However, the Towerstars didn't take long and equalized just a few seconds before the first period break through Alex Ahlroth (1:1). In the second period, Erik Karlsson gave Ravensburger their first lead after making it 2-1 in the 22nd minute, but Landshut promptly responded through Ty Immo, who equalized the score at 2-2 in the 28th minute.
Fast-paced game with exciting twists
In extra time, the longed-for goal failed to materialize, so the penalty shootout had to bring the decision. Here EV Landshut proved to be more efficient, while the Towerstars only scored once through Simon Sezemsky. Tobias Lindberg grabbed the decisive goal for Landshut, securing victory and third place in the DEL 2 table for his team. After the game, Coach Bo Subr of the Towerstars was understandably disappointed with the effectiveness and the penalty times, which led to an imminent loss of points shortly before the end.

With only one point behind, the Landshut team moved closer to the top places in the table, while Ravensburg is still looking for consistency.
