Pure joy of life: Big summer festival in the Haus Lehmgruben senior center!
On July 8, 2025, the atmosphere in the Haus Lehmgruben diaconal senior center in Marktheidenfeld was lively, as the traditional residents' summer festival was on the program. In bright summer weather, the residents, relatives, friends and neighbors present could look forward to a varied celebration. It began with a celebratory church impulse from Pastor Augustin, followed by warm words of welcome from the association leader Daniela Weyerich and Mayor Thomas Stamm. This beautifully designed event was perceived as a success by many enthusiastic guests, which can be attributed to the good hands of the organizing team, who had prepared everything excellently.
Under colorful parasols, the festival guests found an inviting atmosphere in which they could enjoy delicious grilled dishes and a tasty salad buffet. The musical entertainment came from the popular Marketplace Trio, who performed with five members and encouraged guests to sing and dance along. In addition, the “M+M Tanzfreunde” from Wertheim provided momentum by being involved in the events with impressive dance performances.
Entertainment and program highlights
Dancing and celebrating, the guests were also able to admire care worker Vivien Martin, who presented a seated dance with residents - a wonderful opportunity to combine joy and movement. Amusing performances were provided by the talented Michaela Roßberg, who as a clown made people laugh with balloons and jokes. The Spessarthörnle offered a very special performance, enchanting visitors with their alpine horns.
A photo corner where guests could have their photo taken with fun accessories provided artistic memories. In the afternoon, the large cake counter was stormed, and the unexpected appearance of the “Hoffmann siblings”, Anja Winker and Christine Lang, brought humor and surprises to the party. The volunteer Hermann-Josef Väth, who appeared as a historical community servant, also knew how to inspire the audience.
