Experience the big festival weekend: city festival, yoga and more in the Allgäu!

What a weekend in the Allgäu! From July 11th to 13th, 2025, the region will be dominated by numerous events. After a cool, rainy week, visitors can now look forward to sunny days, which makes the preparations for the numerous events even more enjoyable. Let's take a look at what's on offer!

Peasant War Theater “Uffrur” in Memmingen

The Peasants' War theater “Uffrur” will kick off on Friday, July 11th on the Memmingen market square. From 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., visitors can immerse themselves in an exciting world. Young and old are invited to take part in hands-on activities and interactive stations. The stage program begins at 7:00 p.m. with a play and is supplemented by performances by Allgäu bands. Admission is free – a visit is really fun!

Family and company run in Nesselwang

At the same time, the company and family run takes place in Nesselwang. The children's races start at 4:30 p.m., followed by the main run at 6:00 p.m. over a distance of 6 kilometers. No matter whether companies, families, clubs or individual starters – everyone is invited to be part of this run. Registrations are possible on site or online until 5:00 p.m.

Yoga festival “Om am See” in Füssen

Another highlight is the yoga festival “Om am See” in the Festspielhaus Füssen, which takes place from July 11th to 13th. In addition to various yoga classes and meditations, there are also workshops for Thai massages and SUP yoga. A market with sustainable, vegan and vegetarian dishes provides culinary catering. Even in changeable weather, the participants are not lost, as weatherproof tents and the festival hall serve as alternative options.

City festival in Sonthofen

The city festival in Sonthofen, which begins on Saturday, July 12th, attracts many visitors with its mix of cuisine and culture. Over 60 clubs and restaurants are expected, and participants can look forward to an extensive program with five stages. From 11:00 a.m. until late at night, guests can enjoy, sing along and party. Among other things, there will be a children's area on Oberallgäuer Platz, where around 20 youth clubs will offer hands-on activities. And of course the official beer tapping, which is accompanied by music from the youth brass band, should not be missed.

Music festival in Reichholzried

The music festival, which boasts 250 years of brass music tradition, is celebrated in Reichholzried on the same weekend. A colorful program will be offered here on Saturday, July 12th from 11:00 a.m., including a classic car meeting and face painting for children. Sunday begins with a church service at 9:00 a.m., followed by brass band performances and a final concert. Admission is free on both days – a real highlight for music lovers!

Further events in Oberallgäu

But that's not enough! The region has even more to offer. A total of 170 events are recorded in the Oberallgäu event calendar, including a charity concert on July 11th in Fischen and a summer concert on July 13th in Immenstadt. Everyone who wants to take part in these events must travel in an environmentally friendly manner. Carpooling is recommended to make the journey less stressful and to minimize parking pressure. The anticipation of a great weekend in the Allgäu is great!
