At around 10:25 p.m., a 36-year-old man was threatened by three masked strangers on Machnigstrasse and attacked with a baton. The incident occurred near the Theodor Heuss School, which is known in the city for its educational importance. The attackers targeted him, but appear to have acted for no apparent reason. The background to the attack is currently unclear and is the focus of the police investigation.
