It is November 3rd, 2025 and Schliersee is in a state of emergency. Monika Gruber is celebrating her eagerly awaited comeback in the Bauerntheater, and the premiere of her new tour “Es huilft ja nix!” is already sold out. How Mercury reported, ticket sales were a real hit: within just ten hours, fans snapped up 40,000 tickets for a total of 93 performances in 35 cities. This also includes popular stops in Dresden, Wiener Neustadt, Bolzano and Switzerland.
The farmer's theater has a special appeal for Gruber. She describes the charm and atmosphere as incomparable and consciously chose this intimate environment. “Here the audience feels eager to have fun and enthusiastic,” says Gruber. She emphasizes that this is crucial for a successful evening. She also appreciates the combination of the theater and the adjacent bar, which further enriches the experience.
A beautiful circle
With her appearance in Schliersee, the comedian closes a “beautiful circle” for herself. A few years ago she was on stage at the “Ewigen Spitzbua” and now she is returning – but this time with a well-thought-out program for which she has collected material for over a year. “I’m always working on it,” she assures. Around 350 spectators are expected for the premiere, which means less pressure for them than in larger halls.
The first evening at the Bauerntheater is estimated on October 31st, and Gruber is known for being nervous at premieres. Nevertheless, she feels comfortable there, surrounded by “nice people”. Their anticipation is evident and the audience can look forward to an entertaining show.
Remaining ideas
The audience had to act quickly because the other performances on March 10th, 11th, 12th, 30th and 31st and on April 1st, 2026 are also already sold out. There are no additional performances planned in the Bauerntheater, which underlines the exclusivity of the events.
