Severe thunderstorms have already been detected in the already affected districts of Deggendorf, Dingolfing, Passau and Rottal-Inn.

Dangers of thunderstorms

There is also an official warning of severe thunderstorms for the northern parts of Mühldorf am Inn and Altötting, which can also bring heavy rain and gusts of up to 85 km/h. The Traunstein district is in a less critical warning level, level two out of four, until 11 p.m. It is advisable to prepare for possible power outages and traffic problems if the storm front moves from Lower Bavaria towards these districts.
