An exciting, albeit serious, exercise is currently being carried out in Munich and the Mühldorf am Inn district. The police forces of Upper Bavaria show how they are prepared for “life-threatening operational situations”. The police took advantage of the autumn break to train their operational tactics in special training scenarios, especially at schools.
One of the central exercises will take place at the Fröttmaning subway station in Munich from Tuesday, November 4th to Friday, November 7th. Police have made it clear that no subway cancellations or diversions are expected during these exercises between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. However, residents and passers-by should be prepared to possibly hear gunshots or screams, which are part of the scenario. It is also emphasized here that there is no danger to the public at any time.
Exercises in schools
The Haag elementary and middle school in Mühldorf am Inn and the middle school in Unterschleißheim were particularly scrutinized on Monday.
