Pure luxury at Nymphenburg Palace: The new Royal Residence opens!

Nymphenburg Palace is getting an exciting new attraction. On June 29, 2025, Luitpold Prince of Bavaria and Barbara Muckermann, CEO of the Kempinski Group, announced the opening of the Royal Residence. This exclusive residence, which covers an impressive 836 square meters and three levels, offers everything your heart desires - and at a price of at least 25,000 euros per night.

In the castle rondel, on the grounds of the traditional porcelain factory, the Royal Residence comes with impressive facilities: four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, three living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room as well as a fitness room and a meeting room. A sauna and a home cinema make the experience perfect. But that's not all: the interior is refined with fine fabrics, artistic wallpapers and exquisite tiles, the value of which is measured in the millions. Last but not least, the Prince of Bavaria emphasized the importance of an undisturbed retreat for the royal family and wealthy guests.

A place for exclusive occasions

Kempinski Hotels will take over the administrative business of the Royal Residence from March 1, 2025 and is pursuing a clear objective with this administration: to preserve the cultural heritage of Nymphenburg and to redefine standards of luxury and service. The residence will not only be a place to retreat, but will also serve as a showcase for hand-made Nymphenburg porcelain - art objects and tableware from the traditional factory, founded in 1747, fit harmoniously into the ambience.

Amenities also include a private garden with a majolica terrace that can accommodate up to 100 guests - perfect for celebratory occasions or exclusive weddings. Guests can look forward to a personal butler, private chef, and limousine service available 24 hours a day to meet the needs of even the most discerning traveler.

A retreat with history

Those interested will have the opportunity to make reservations for the Royal Residence from March 2025. In addition to the luxurious living space, guests also enjoy a daily breakfast and an airport transfer. The direct proximity to Munich city center is underlined by a practical shuttle service from Kempinski, which makes it easy to explore the city's diverse cultural offerings.

The vision behind the Royal Residence is to create a marriage of first-class design and history. Each object tells its own story, and the residence is presented as an exclusive branch of the renowned Hotel Vier Saisonen Kempinski Munich, which was built by King Maximilian II.

The opening of the Royal Residence promises not only a retreat into luxury, but also the opportunity to linger in a piece of Bavarian history. Whether it's for a special occasion or a luxurious vacation, it seems like all the splendor you could ever want is combined here.

Further booking information is available online at Kempinski. Anticipation is not only high among luxury travelers - those who have a passion for history and art will also surely feel at home here.
