On Friday, August 15, 2025, there was a serious rear-end collision on Ingolstädter Straße in Neuburg in the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district. A 29-year-old VW driver rolled over during an evasive maneuver and was slightly injured. At the time of the accident, around 2:30 p.m., the VW driver noticed the Opel braking too late and tried to avoid it. Her left front wheel hit the right rear of the other vehicle, which ultimately caused her car to roll over. A first aider was able to help the victim get out of the vehicle. Both people involved were taken to hospital - the VW driver was taken to Neuburg Hospital, while the young Opel driver was taken to Ingolstadt Hospital with a bruise on his left hand.
